With the turn of the calendar, it feels good to look ahead. And we’re excited about all that Waddell & Reed has to look forward to in 2017. As the company marks its 80th year, it is aggressively investing for the next 80 years.

Waddell & Reed recognizes the need for financial advisors to have the best tools available to provide clients exceptional personal service. That’s why in early 2016 we announced a multi-million dollar investment in new technology and new products.

A great deal of what’s in the works is improved technological capabilities – some behind the scenes, some tangible to clients and advisors. While the wired world hands us new technology every day, the real story at Waddell & Reed is how our advancements will provide clients easy-to-navigate, real-time access to account information. These enhancements will allow advisors and clients to partner more effectively as they develop and implement financial plans. For advisors, workflow improvements are enhancing their efficiency so they can spend more time with clients, less on paperwork.

Our product offerings are expanding as well, most dramatically the range of choice available through our Managed Allocation Portfolio programs.

At Waddell & Reed, we’re stepping confidently into 2017 knowing we’re offering what we believe to be the very best tools for building and maintaining client financial plans. Best wishes for a safe and prosperous new year.
