Prior to joining Waddell & Reed, Benhur performed financial accounting for a global freight corporation. Additionally, his experience includes forecasting production volumes at IBM of Rochester.

Benhur is active in the Chamber of Commerce, BNI, and MN Tie (an entrepeneurial organization). He has lived in three countries, including India, United Arab Emirates, and the United States. Of particular interest to Benhur are emerging economies.
