Your focus is recruiting, selecting and developing a team of advisors. You may also continue to build your personal practice and may establish your own district office at an independent location or remain within the division location.
This division management program includes extensive mentoring with a top managing principal to learn Waddell & Reed's systems and practices. Success as an associate manager can lead to having your own division office within six to 12 months.
Your focus is to lead, motivate and mentor your management team, advisor force and administrative staff. You represent Waddell & Reed in your community and the industry, as well as manage the day-to-day operation of the division office.
Regional Vice President
You shape and lead a team of managing principals within your region and assist them in the successful leadership of their divisions. The regional vice presidents also act as an advisory council to the national sales manager and associate national sales manager and impact company policy and direction.
